Three well-known names in the region have recently signed up as sponsors of the inaugural North Somerset Business Awards.
Weston College, Alliance Homes and Cadbury House have all come on-board as key sponsors for the Awards, which will celebrate business and enterprise in the region.
The Awards will be held at Cadbury House on Thursday September 26.
The trio join Cook & Co Solicitors; North Somerset Council; Burton Sweet accountants, Purplex, North Somerset Enterprise Agency and Lloyds TSB.
Alliance Homes will be sponsoring Training Initiative Award; Weston College will be sponsoring Innovation of the Year and Double Tree by Hilton, Cadbury House have signed up to sponsor the champagne reception.
Dr Paul Phillips OBE, who is Principal and Chief Executive of Weston College comments: “We have pledged our support to the Awards as we feel this is going to a major business event. There is much to celebrate in North Somerset and a high profile event such as this is crucial.
“It’s going to be a major business event and we decided to opt for the Innovation of the Year in order to celebrate and propel some of the great things companies in this sector are achieving.”

We already work in partnership with some of the organisations and look forward to supporting and attending this prestigious event.

As well as a host of leading businesses and organisations; a number of high profile business leaders have formed a panel of judges for the Awards.
These include former Bristol City Chief Executive Colin Sexstone; Dr Liam Fox MP; Graham Cooper, who is Managing Director of One Post; Angel Investor and Serial Entrepreneur Peter McCarthy and others. Find out more about the awards judges.
There are twelve awards categories that businesses can enter. The Awards open on April 8 2013.
