Mail Handling International (MHI) is sponsoring the Export & International Award at this year’s Business Leader Awards.
The award is presented to a company that has demonstrated significant and sustained international growth, along with a clear understanding of overseas markets.
MHI is one of the UK’s leading international postal services, specialising in providing postal delivery solutions for more than 20 years.
The business currently employs over 80 staff across 21,000 sq ft of administration, operational and storage facilities; and exports client’s e-commerce, magazines and catalogues all over the world.
MHI, whose headquarters are located in Bristol, is one of a number of notable businesses in the region who are driving economic growth through its ambition to tap into diverse international markets.
According to a recent UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) data, the south west is one of the four areas across the country that increased its export levels in 2015.
The latest export figures for the region reaches $17bn.

The Business Leader Awards will take place on Thursday 22nd September at the Bristol Hotel.
It presents a not to be missed opportunity to join influential leaders in business, education and government, along with the media and VIPs in celebrating business success in Bristol and the South West.
The evening kicks off with a champagne reception and spectacular gala dinner before the award winners are announced across 14 different categories including new additions Commercial Property Award and expanded categories in Business of the Year.
Hosting the awards will be a high-profile guest speaker. Previous years’ hosts have included former MP Gyles Brandreth, Michelle Mone and Sir Ranulph Fiennes.
