HSBC UK have been announced as the sponsor for the Green Business of the Year at the 2018 Business Leader Awards.
HSBC is one of the world’s largest banking and financial services organisations. They serve more than 38 million customers through four global businesses: Retail Banking and Wealth Management, Commercial Banking, Global Banking and Markets, and Global Private Banking.
Their network covers 66 countries and territories in Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Africa, North America and Latin America.
With around 3,800 offices worldwide, HSBC aim to be where the growth is, connecting customers to opportunities, enabling businesses to thrive and economies to prosper, and ultimately helping people to fulfil their hopes and realise their ambitions.
Listed on the London, Hong Kong, New York, Paris and Bermuda stock exchanges, shares in HSBC Holdings plc are held by around 200,000 shareholders in more than 125 countries and territories.
It is this worldwide exposure that brings even more prestige to the Green Business of the Year.
And it is not just this prestige that is on the line on September 27th – as all finalists, sponsors and attendees will be entertained by the irreverent comedic stylings of Russell Kane, a gala dinner, charity casino and more!
Judging is currently taking place, and they are currently looking for companies that can demonstrate a successful commitment to managing their social, environmental and financial obligations.
Founder of the Business Leader Awards, Andrew Scott, said: “HSBC are one of the largest and most respected financial institutions in the world and I am proud to say that they are sponsoring the Green Business of the Year award.”
