Business Leader Awards team take the plunge for Alzheimer’s Society

The Business Leader Awards team has organised a sponsored skydive in aid of the Alzheimer’s Society.

Business Development Manager, Sam Clark and Receptionist Shannon Ettery are raising the funds for the charity, which is looking to transform the lives dementia sufferers and their families throughout the UK.

The society is striving to support those that are living with dementia, which is estimated to affect more than a million people by 2021. Dementia is a broad term used to describe a number of different conditions affecting the brain, including Alzheimer’s Disease.

Every year, the Business Leader Awards has a charity casino, where a cause close to the team in chosen and all proceeds are then given over at the end of the night.

Following a record number of entries and tickets selling faster than ever, the team felt that we could do more to raise awareness for the Alzheimer’s Society.

Sam Clark commented: “Over the last few years, we have raised thousands for our chosen charities at the Business Leader Awards, but when the opportunity came to raise awareness for a cause that is close to me personally – I jumped at the opportunity – pardon the pun.

“I hope we can raise a great total for a worthy cause and I look forward to hearing what the final total will be on September 27th.”

Details on the location, date and time yet to be confirmed (likely October), the Business Leader Awards’ team are encouraging all those who would like to sponsor to visit the page below.
