Following on from the highly-successful 2017 Business Leader Awards, preparation for this year’s event is now underway.

Now entering its sixth successive year, the South West’s premier business event is set to be the biggest and highest attended to date.

With two new awards added to the event, there is even more cause for celebration for the region’s elite business community.

Family Business and Manufacturing will now also be recognised at the event on Thursday 27th September at Ashton Gate Stadium in Bristol.

However, there is a lot of excitement on the horizon before the star-studded night at the home of Bristol City – where an expected attendance of over 700 prominent business leaders will enjoy a black-tie gala dinner and celebrity guest speaker.

So, how can your business be a part of the event?

On Friday 16th March, award entries will open and to ensure you are in with a chance to win, make sure your entries are in by June 1st.

Later that month, our independent panel of judges will go out and visit the entries and on August 1st, the finalists for each of the 17 categories will be announced.

Current sponsors of the event include Barclays, Albert Goodman, Gallagher, BDO, Bristol Audi, VWV, UWE Bristol, Castle Business Finance, Meade King and Natwest.

With limited sponsorship opportunities left, please visit https://www.blawards.co.uk/sponsorship/, contact 0117 325 7779 or email editor@businessleader.co.uk.

With last year’s event registering as the second top trend in the UK on Twitter, your business could be a part of #BLA18.

Andrew Scott, founder of the Business Leader Awards, comments: “As we get closer to the awards I welcome anyone in attend our lively, exciting evening of celebration for business and individual achievements in the South West.”
